A boat navigating toward a lighthouse, a mountain climb at the foot of Mt. Rainier, or the steady rhythm of a 55-year-old simply running.
Each metaphor reflects my philosophy: life is a purposeful journey, and the direction we choose defines us. Living by the water, with a lighthouse in view, reminds me daily to keep steering toward what matters. Nestled near Mt. Rainier, I find both challenge and inspiration in its slopes, whether skiing, hiking, or simply admiring its grandeur. And as I lace up my running shoes, I embrace the forward momentum of life, moving not in competition
but with intention.

I am committed to fostering a culture of leadership and
growth in my community of South Seattle, extending outward
to make an impact worldwide. Through my work, I challenge
organizations to redefine success, creating legacies of
purpose and meaning.
Life Beyond the Lighthouse
At home near Seattle, WA, I share life with my
husband Shane and our three incredible
daughters: a Purdue junior, a George Fox freshman
, and a high school junior. As a
family, we cherish the outdoors—
paddle boarding, hiking, skiing, and biking are
our favorite ways to connect with the natural
beauty around us. Beyond family and work, I am
active in the South Seattle Chamber, Renton
Chamber, a member of my local Rotary
chapter, and a dedicated community advocate.
A Perspective to Anchor Your Journey
When I speak, I often share this analogy: Life begins with a
rowboat. As children, we're taught how to row, steer, and
navigate the waters. Along the way, we install sails, learning
to harness the wind to propel us further. Across the water
stands a lighthouse—our purpose, our destination. The
